RECANTO MAESTRO

Placed at the heart of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in 1994 was born Recanto Maestro, the Brazilian headquarter of the International Ontopsychology Association (AIO – non-governmental organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations); an international space planned to host and promote humanistic-based activities and undertakings.

Recanto Maestro is a district* of São João do Polêsine – city integrant of the forth colony of Italian immigration at Rio Grande do Sul – and has as main goal the development of the International Centre of Humanist Art and Culture that is composed by the Residential Condominium, the Hotel Capo Zorial and the OntoArte Association. The results of the International Centre's activities are passed to Societies and Associations or, on their absence, to the institutional society.

Recanto Maestro privileges the admission of local collaborators, exercising, in this way, its social responsibility, besides the economic and human development of the region.

Recanto Maestro has no ideological principles, it's only the practical reason of the functional man to the own environment, being this practical compared by Professor Antonio Meneghetti, idealiser and creator of this place, with the psychology of the tree: it grows up and adjusts itself, producing fruits and new seeds for the future.

Considering the many reasons that motive the construction of places like Recanto Maestro, three aspects are emphasized:

1º) remake completely abandoned lands, revealing its original beauty, always with respect and harmony to the nature;

2º) zone enrichment by the entrepreneurial activity and international tourism, which amplify and benefit the local culture;

3º) verified the huge exodus of young people to the urban centres, the construction of this kind of place is presented as an economic and cultural solution to keep this youth on the interior of the countries.

ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENT

Located on a mountain covered by native subtropical forest, overlooking a valley of undulating plains, surrounded by abrupt rocky high walls, Recanto Maestro surprises by its geological and paleontogical formations, hydric abundance (the region is regarded as an area that supplies the Aqüifero Botucatu, the largest fresh-water aquiferous in the world) and richness of rare fauna and flora.

Recanto Maestro is a perfect ecobiological place which proportionates a mind-body equilibrium; it's a refuge of the turbulent quotidian, of the sonorous and visual pollution, of the usual automatism; it's a proposition to recycle the organism when is in contact with pure air, organic food, international cuisine, aesthetic treatments, intelligent leisure, humanist culture and much more.

The exuberant nature is emphasized by an unprecedented architectural and landscape project. Recanto Maestro is a global reference for integration among environment, art and human development. All of the projects are developed with legal guaranties, respect to the social politics and local environment directives.

In the World Congress of Architecture that took place in Istanbul – Turkey in July of the year 2005, Recanto Maestro was introduced as a point of advanced and high realization of the genius of the great Mº Antonio Meneghetti.

In what concerns the architecture of the District it is accentuated the Residential Condominium that gathers tranquillity, security, privacy, personalized services of house keeping and a lot of Art. Houses and flats with exclusive architecture and design are located at the highest point of the District, with a complete view to the valley.

The OntoArte Association headquarter is an architectural masterpiece, hosting the OntoArte Gallery and a meeting room where are realized the events of the Association (conferences, concerts, vernissages , artistic exhibitions, seminars and fashion parades). The aim of the OntoArte Association is to recapture art in all of its manifestations as prospective functions of the Being to the health and prestige of man.

HOTEL CAPO ZORIAL

An absolutely forefront project, the Hotel Capo Zorial constitutes an art gallery: iron and rock sculptures reaching up to 9 meters in height and weighing an average of 7 tons, besides the exclusive masterpieces that decorate its hall and its 29 apartments.

All apartments have a complete view to the valley or to the mountains, are equipped with air conditioning and a lot of comfort.
